Sameera Pochiraju

Associate Program Director

Sameera Pochiraju, Associate Program Director, manages AAI members and partners in Côte d’Ivoire and projects across BVGH’s network of program partners. Sameera brings 10 years of experience managing global health projects around the world. As a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, Sameera provided analytical, strategic, and management support to one of the largest USAID projects to strengthen HIV supply chains in developing countries. Sameera also spent 4 years working on the Clinton Health Access Initiative’s HIV Treatment Access Program where she assisted governments in Asia and Africa build capacity for high-quality HIV care and treatment programs. Most recently, she managed partnerships for Watsi, the first nonprofit coming out of Y Combinator, to improve access to healthcare in developing countries using technology solutions. Sameera received her BA, Political Science, magna cum laude, from the College of Wooster (Ohio), and her MA, International Development (Political Economy Focus), from the University of Pittsburgh.
