The Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) is a public hospital in Eldoret, Kenya. MTRH is the second largest public hospital in Kenya with 1300 beds, primarily serving patients from the eastern region of the country and neighboring areas of Uganda and South Sudan. MTRH is affiliated with the US-based group AMPATH and has previously conducted drug, vaccine, epidemiological, diagnostic, and observational studies. MTRH has been sponsored by both industry and the NIH. AC3T’s cancer clinical trials capacity data shows that MTRH is capable of conducting Phase II, III, and IV trials.
