Early and accurate diagnosis is crucial to improving breast cancer patient outcomes. BVGH launched a two-part digital training program to build knowledge and confidence among pathologists in Africa – whose patients are largely diagnosed with late-stage disease. The AAI Breast Cancer Pathology digital training covered invasive breast carcinoma, diagnostic pathology and staging of breast cancer, practical skills for breast cancer diagnosis, reporting standards, and more. The program was attended by 945 participants from over 60 countries. The AAI Breast Cancer Pathology digital training program is now available on BVGH Learn.
